Teaser: The Czech Republic has a rich Christian heritage, but today it is very secular and atheistic. Come and join us in beautiful South Bohemia - gain valuable experience teaching and serving in an area where most people have no opportunities to hear the Gospel. This relationship-building would help to support a new church planting initiative in the southwest area of the historical town of České Budějovice.
Suggested Dates: 8/30/19-12/13/19 & 1/3/20-4/14/20
Date Flexibility: Flexible, ideally 2 semesters, but 1 semester would also be wonderful.

Description: Teaching adult classes 2-3 evenings/week at our English Classes for Czechs (ECC) in small group settings. Other teaching possibilities in schools, with young people or children, or at English Camp (if summer internship). Organizing any special events for the students. Serving with our team in the areas of office work, practical work, and possible activities related to the church plant or a local church. Joining in with other team activities (devotions, prayer meetings, etc.).
Skills/ Experience Required: Ability to teach English in a creative fashion that encourages conversation. You must be able to plan and prepare your own lessons. TESL certificate is encouraged but not required.
Qualifications of on-field supervisor: Bachelor's in Intercultural and Biblical Studies; Seven years of ministry and Christian leadership.
