The Nonprofit Management intern is responsible for implementing, managing, and completing projects across departments at OM USA. Projects vary based on skill set and need, but can be in the following fields: finance, business development, marketing, fundraising, volunteer management and/or social entrepreneurship.

Duties include:

•    Project management focused on organizational strategic initiatives.
•    Business development for various departments.
•    Business development for new global business ventures.
•    Ownership of Marketing, accounting, HR, recruiting, and/or fundraising projects.
•    One international business trip.
•    Recruiting and volunteer management, supporting the volunteer and internship department.

Learning Outcomes:

•    Experience leading and directing a project team
•    Creating strategic project management plans
•    Presenting completed project to executive team
•    Accessibility to experienced, executive level mentors
•    Exposure to multi-cultural subjects

Additional Info:

•    All interns must formally accept and abide by OM USA's Statement of Faith for the duration of the internship.
•    On campus housing required

Skills/ Experience Required:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills required
  • Capable of excellent time management and executing projects.
Qualifications of supervisor: As an intern, you will work directly with a professional in the field.
