Teaser: Use your finance and accounting skills in the USA at the OM USA headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Get professional experience and oversight while participating an international community and learning about what God is doing around the world.

Compensation: Free apartment housing on the OM USA campus as well as a $600.00 monthly stipend for living costs.

Description:

The finance intern is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and communicating OM USA’s financial data as delegated by the finance department.

  • Experience receiving and analyzing incoming donations
  • Developing and creating financial statements and reports for auditing
  • Authoring an IRS form 990
  • Analyzing important financial benchmarking ratios
  • Communicating finances for current and future donors

Additional Info:

  • All interns must formally accept and abide by OM USA’s Statement of Faith for the duration of the internship.
  • On campus housing required.
Skills/Experience Required:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient financial and analytical skills
  • Must be a junior or senior in college
  • Major in Finance, Accounting, or business related field
Qualifications of supervisor:
As an intern you will work directly for members of the OM management team, who have experience both in the corporate world in their field, as well as in international nonprofit.  You will receive vocational mentoring by senior level OM staff, as well as monthly meetings with OM Vice Presidents.
