Description: Depending on the qualifications/interests of the intern and the season/exact dates of internship the intern could be involved in agricultural, construction and facility development as well as food processing, packaging and marketing work with:
• crops and gardens
• aquaponics
• pigs
• chickens
• rabbits
• research and experimentation with new agricultural methods
• greenhouses
• honey bees
It would be expected that the student be at work at the farm/office 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Saturday they would attend church. Thursday evenings there is team Bible study. Sunday is a free day. Upon arrival they would attend some language classes.
Skills/ Experience Required: Any of the Following:
• Agriculture
• Construction
• Marketing
• Food processing & Packaging
Qualifications of on-field supervisor: Shiloh Farms Foreman and part of Nepal team.
• Supervisor/manager of operational business with 3 full-time employees.
• Supervised and directed other volunteers and part time workers at the farm.
