Description: You would be working with coaches from the OM Sportslink baseball and softball club and the Hungarian Baseball and Softball Federation in training with and playing with Hungarian national team's baseball and softball players. There will be different opportunities to help our club teams with training, coaching and playing. You will have the opportunity to participate in the training and tournaments of the Hungarian Little League National teams. There are also opportunities to help with field maintenance and other tournaments. A proposed weekly schedule: three mornings a week field work, 3:00-8:00 pm on Monday-Friday: practices. Weekends: games. During camps, 24 hour camp schedule. During the summer (third week of June through first week of August) you would be involved in baseball and softball outreaches in Hungary as well as with the club teams. The program will be varied and exciting!
Skills/ Experience Required: Love for baseball/softball and a desire to learn sports ministry and serve the Baseball and Softball ministry in Hungary.
Qualifications of on-field supervisor:

OM Hungary’s SportsLink Coordinator, Terry Lingenhoel, has been serving in Hungary for 25 years, the last 13 in sports ministry. He has a Masters of ministry from Columbia International University. He is the president and head coach of the Érd Baseball and Softball Club which consist of 8 teams, all league, from T-ball to adult baseball and softball, over 120 players. He also serves as the Youth Development Officer for the Hungarian Baseball and Softball Association as well as Head Coach for the Little League All-Star teams for Hungary.
