Description: You would participate in team events as an active member of the team, but specifically focusing on taking photos/videos of events and ministries and writing stories for OM’s Intranet or newsletters. You also may assist with writing some reports for project proposals. There are a number of key events and outreaches in this period so you would travel with the team for some of these. You may also be asked to assist OM Zimbabwe team members to grow in communication/photography skills that you are proficient in. Some weeks will be incredibly busy and other weeks much more quiet. You would participate in Team devotions on Thursday mornings and Team prayer on Friday mornings.
Skills/ Experience Required: Any combination of the following, but not necessarily all: photography, videography, story writing, report writing, computer competence, or graphic design for web or print.
Qualifications of on-field supervisor: In Zimbabwe there are two supervisors: The field leader is experienced in leadership, planning, mentoring, Master’s Degree in Development (include proposal and report writing). The Communication person is currently studying Journalism and has been in the Communications role for three years.
